Just waiting till gianthold comes on sale again. Until then, I won't be on as much as i used to since there aren't many quests I can play + spamming invaders gets boring. Leave any messages if you need me for anything though. I check the forums a few times a day. Just thought I should make a separate post since I technically didn't leave.

Well, I understand your dilemma because I myself was there just a couple weeks ago. It IS terrible. But here is what you can do...

Make a drow. Bard, Sorc, Wiz, even Rogue. They make some of the best toons in the game and they ARE very much 32 pt toons. There is only one drawback that most people don't even know about until they are pretty advanced in their drow career. Drow have a level adjustment of +1. This means that at level 1, when you start the game, you need level 3's experience to go up to level 2. At level 19 you will need level 21's experience levels to achieve level 20. It makes for a slow developing character but believe me, at level 8 my bard Longhair already has 24 charisma, without a cha buffing item. That guarantees that my main stat of Charisma will be well over 30 by the end of the game and should even reach 40 or more. These are uber toons. Make sure you do your research before you roll. No sense in not playing the game. My advice to you is to make a 32 point alt.

BTW: do you have ALL the F2P quests complete on Elite?

No, I don't but i recently just bought turbine points because I hated grinding for them on completely new characters I wasn't going to use after wards. I may make that drow, no idea yet.

make sure you do research before you do work.
otherwise, months later, you will have a toon that you hate and start over.
Please do the research and you can avoid this unnecessary waste of time.
Especially if you chose to go bard.

Thinking on favor farming for veteran status to skip the painful leveling from 1-4. Just not sure what to do to get the last 100 points since f2p only has about 900 total. Might pick up Sorrowdusk with the left over points from gianthold.

If you do F2P and Gianthold on Elite, then you should have more than enough for Veteran.

920 from free quests plus 216 from Gianthold = 1136 Favour Points. Gianthold is really all that you need for Veteran status. Add in 207 and 153 from The Vale of Twilight and The Devils of Shavarath and you're only 254 shy of a 32 point build while still having most of the late-game content.
